THE STAPLER OF LOVE
Because that he had been often bound with fetters and
chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in
pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the
mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he
saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.

As I was
sitting at the desk in my office this morning, I saw the stapler and the thought
came to me that Jesus staples the fragmented parts of our heart and lives together
with His stapler of love. We have so many different emotions in our hearts and so
many different circumstances in our lives but He brings them into unity and staples
them into one piece and makes us whole.
I have a lot of papers that I need
to staple together. However, they are so thick that my stapler wont staple them.
I need to purchase a heavy duty stapler so it will accept and staple all of them
together at once. Jesus is our heavy duty stapler. We are unable to bring the fragmented
parts of our hearts and lives into one piece. It takes Jesus working in our hearts
and lives to do it.
Do you know this precious stapler of love? Does Jesus
live in your heart? Have you felt the joy, peace, happiness, excitement, comfort
and encouragement that only He can give us? He so longs to staple your heart together
into one piece so that you will have the peace that passes all understanding; the
peace that nobody or nothing can take away from you. Give your heart and life to
the one who gave His life for you. He Loves you so much and longs to hold you in
His arms of understanding, compassion and tenderness. He will never leave you, not
even for a minute. He will hold your hand and walk with you.
